The 2024 Chhath Puja Mahaparv (November 5–8, 2024) observed all four traditional phases: Nahay Khay, Kharna, Sandhya Arghya (the sunset offering into the water), and Usha Arghya (the pre-dawn sunrise offering). Traditional Chhath geet (devotional songs of Chhath) were sung collectively at the waterfront.
